Ball Screws Are Commonly Known As Screws, Do You Know These Characteristics?

The ball screw has basically replaced the trapezoidal screw, commonly known as the screw. What are its characteristics?
1. Small friction loss and high transmission efficiency
Since there are many balls rolling between the screw shaft of the ball screw pair and the screw nut, higher motion efficiency can be obtained. Compared with the past sliding screw pair, the driving torque reaches less than 1/3, that is, the power required to achieve the same motion result is 1/3 of that of the sliding screw pair. It is very helpful in saving power.
2. High precision
Ball screw pairs are generally produced continuously with the world's highest level of mechanical equipment, especially in the factory environment of grinding, assembly, and inspection of each process, the temperature and humidity are strictly controlled. Due to the perfect quality management system, the accuracy is fully guaranteed.
3. High-speed feed and micro-feed are possible
Because the ball screw pair uses ball motion, the starting torque is extremely small, and there will be no crawling phenomenon like sliding motion, which can ensure accurate micro-feed.
4. High axial stiffness
The ball screw pair can be pre-pressed. Since the pre-pressure can make the axial clearance reach a negative value, a higher rigidity can be obtained (by applying pressure to the balls in the ball screw, when it is actually used in mechanical devices, etc., due to the repulsion of the balls, the rigidity of the wire mother can be enhanced).
5. It cannot be self-locked and has the reversibility of transmission
